Vidyasthali has co-ed classes from Nursery to Class XII. The school follows the syllabus of UP Board. It is also learning centre for the NIOS Board. In the afternoon and early evening the school transforms into a Gyan Setu Centre where those students who dropped out of school or have never been to school are seen actively engaged with learning systems through a curriculum based on an interactive pedagogy. At Vidyasthali, the teachers ensure that individual attention is given to each child and learning happens through understanding rather than by rote. Multimedia is being effectively used to teach primary students the basics of science and mathematics. The use of the stick, quite commonly used in most government schools, as the means to discipline children is strongly disallowed. The teachers are proud of the students' enthusiasm for learning. Almost half of them assist their parents in fields or other occupations, with their day beginning at 4 in the morning. However, they don nott let that affect their academic performance.
