Republic Day Celebration

Study Hall Grandparents’ Association

It was indeed a privilege to have Major Kaul, one of our grandparents from the Study Hall Grandparents Association, share his life experiences with students of Class 8. His is a story of immense courage and resilience. After fulfilling his childhood dream of joining the Army in 1957, he actively took part in the subsequent wars and distinguished himself with his perspicacity and clarity of thoughts even during assault. Unfortunately, he lost his arms in a land mine blast in 1971. Despite being invalided out of service, his spirit was strong as steel. He built a prosperous business from scratch despite all challenges. Undoubtedly, his boundless enthusiasm and energy can put many youngsters to shame. We salute you sir!
