Vidyasthali Kanar School’s Convocation

The convocation ceremony of Vidyasthali School in Kanar, Malihabad was a perfect occasion for the students to showcase their talents and achievements, and they did not disappoint.

Very well scripted plays which focused on gender issues and other social evils were staged. The ‘Experience Sharing’ session where the graduating students talked about how they had gone on to achieve milestones was a real eye-opener. This was followed by a session where the parents also took to the stage to talk about how Vidyasthali School was providing quality education in a rural area like Kanar, Malihabad.  Group songs and dance performances also livened the mood.

Magsaysay award winner Sandeep Pandey urged the students not to indulge in corruption once they go on to become educated and independent individuals.

Joint director (education) and principal of DIET in Lucknow Ms Lalita Pradeep praised the students and added that they had been successful in presenting a very professional stage show. She also congratulated Dr Urvashi Sahni for setting a high quality school in a rural area.

The programme concluded with the felicitation of the graduating students.
