Study Hall athletes shine in Microlympics

Students of Study Hall School shone the brightest in the Microlympics held at the Sahara ground here on Saturday. Jacaranda House emerged as the overall winner of the Microlympics.  The athletics meet and PT display was kick started by the welcoming of the chief guest Arjun Awardee Gulab Singh after which the founder and Chief Executive of Study Hall Educational Foundation Dr. Urvashi Sahni spoke about how learning happens everywhere – in the classroom, on stage and also on the playground.

This was followed by the lighting of the games torch by Gulab Singh and then the March Past took place during which Jacaranda House won the best match past award.

This lead to the start of the Microlympics which had 100 mts race, 4X100 relay races,  the parents race and the Yoganriya.

The best athlete in Group A (class 6 and 7) boys category was shared by Pradeep Singh and Ghazi Kidwai. In the group A girls category went to Mariyam Asakura. In group B (class 8 and 9) boys category Sarthak Shukla was adjudged the best athlete and Shagun Suryavanshi was the best athlete in the girls section.

In group C (class 10, 11 and 12) Pinju Sanjay was the best athlete in boys section and Sanoli Tripathi was the best athlete in girls section. In another 4X100 mts relay girls from Prerna Girls School stool first. In addition to all this – a parents race for fathers by the name of Kaun Banega Saupati (demonetization) and ‘phoolon ki rahein’ for mothers was also held.
